Volunteer & Make a Difference!
Are you driven to make a difference in the lives of ace and aro people? Were you inspired by the impact our community had during Ace Week and wish you could be a part of that change year-round?
Become a volunteer for Aces & Aros!
Aces & Aros is a non-profit that is focused on building up local communities by providing them with the support and resources they need to make a difference in the lives of ace and aro people. As of 2019, Aces & Aros is also the organization behind Ace Week.
We are looking for volunteers who have an interest in:
Creating posts for Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, and/or Twitter
Writing and/or editing
Graphic design, photo editing, and video editing
Reviewing news coverage of ace and aro issues
Building offline ace and aro communities
Educating others on ace and aro topics
Developing materials representative of the diversity of ace and aro people, especially those who are people of color, disabled, trans/non-binary, and alloaro
Planning for Ace Week 2020
As a volunteer, you’ll be able to:
Meet other aces and aros while collaborating on projects
Chat with other people who are passionate about making a difference
Learn more about how to effectively advocate for asexualtiy and aromanticism
Gain experience with various skills that you can put on your resume
Make a difference in the lives of ace and aro people
Applications are open now until November 15th. If you are a college or university student, consider applying now to volunteer during your winter break.
