Unification - my current work, still in publication. They spend about half the story stranded on an unnamed planet. Hux isn’t injured in this one, but Poe certainly comforts him.

Red Rover - Hux is stranded in space, then on the Resistance base. Poe’s plan to seduce Hux to the good guys works out very differently than he expected.

In Humanity - Hux has been captured by Resistance allies and grossly mistreated. Poe kills them for it, they get stranded on the planet for a night, Poe takes care of him, and rescues him.

Gingerpilot - Snowed In - While meeting to discuss possible peace on a remote planet, Hux takes a walk without a comm to clear his head. Poe follows him, thinking he’s up to something. Neither know much about the wilderness. They get lost, snowed in, and nearly die from hypothermia before their friends find them in a compromising position trying to ‘stay warm’. Yeah. Uh-huh.

Surrender To Me - The richest story in Hux-whump. General Hux’s tortured body is delivered to the Resistance by a small, surrendering force of the First Order who were fortifying a mine on a distant planet. Hux remains defiant even as Poe tries to help him, refusing to accept aid and comfort from the enemy. But even the most stubborn heart can be won over.

Dead Men Tell No Tales - Stranded on a derelict ship and then what amounts to a garbage scow, Hux and Poe work together to stay alive in a fast-paced story of danger and intrigue.

Happily Ever After - Not stranded exactly, but Hux marries Poe (longer story to be found in Grey Order) and moves to Yavin IV, where he must navigate Rebellion-affiliated in-laws, that there is no escape from the Force, and his own many traumas. Poe is there for him every step of the way.

Gingerpilot Recruitment Porn - Part of a series of TFA scenes reimagined as porn. I got put off from finishing it by a few ill-placed comments. Hopefully I’ll finish it someday. As ordered, the Millennium Falcon landed in the main hanger. Her away team disembarked, then sprinted across the bay and crammed into a turbolift. Altogether, it took approximately three minutes to ascend several dozen decks and arrive on the Finalizer’s bridge.

Poe kept count because these were — torture and trench runs excluded — the three longest minutes of his life. Considering he spent them cornered by a First Order general, getting reamed for a crime he hadn’t committed.

Yet.

“See here, flyboy.” Hux snarled with such venom that spit sprayed through the air, and he loomed near enough for Poe to see the razor bumps on his freshly-shaven face. Rest in peace, Beardy Hugs. “If you leave one scratch on my ship, one single scratch— ”

Normally, on those not-so-rare occasions when the brass reprimanded him, Poe knew damn well what he did to deserve it. Something stupid. Something reckless. Something that involved X-wings and explosions.

This time, though, he was stumped. So Poe took a wild guess. “Look, boss, I’m sorry I almost hit your comm tower.” A narrow miss, for sure, but no reason to get your panties in a wad.

He hadn’t cut the Falcon that close to the Finalizer. Two meters was more than enough clearance — in Poe’s opinion.

General Hux stopped shouting, but only long enough to sneer. “Forget the bloody tower.” He jerked a thumb over his shoulder, at the turbolift doors. “If you really can fly anything, then prove it. At the helm of a Star Destroyer.”

Poe recoiled, stunned, eyes wide with wonder.

His jaw dropped. That is… not what he thought they were fighting about.

At all.

“You— you want me to fly the Finalizer?!” He’d misheard. He must’ve. No way would Hux allow it, much less suggest it. “Without sim training. In zero visibility. Through a nebula.”

“I don’t want any part of this.” The general folded his arms across his chest, which might’ve been intimidating were he wearing a fascist uniform instead of undercover civvies. Alas, he and his bare clavicle and fine freckles were still dressed down. “But we have a probe to catch, and pilots are in short supply.”

Shameless and reeling, Poe pointed across the turbolift at Kylo Ren and Rey Kenobi, standing there like chopped liver. “They’re pilots too — and Force-sensitive, to boot!”

Hux found that option even less palatable. And he said so. Rather colorfully. “I’d sooner wrestle rancors than put a Jedi behind the wheel.”

This did not surprise Ren in the slightest, judging by his lack of protest, bored expression, and wordless eyeroll. An old point of contention, apparently. And an argument the darksider had absolutely no interest in rehashing.

General Organa piped up. “Your concerns are valid, Poe.” In retrospect, it was more reverse psychology than her honest opinion. “This won’t be easy. And you’ve only limited experience at the helm of heavy cruisers.”

On cue came his prideful, knee-jerk response. “Hey, I can fly anything!”

“So we’ve heard. And I shall put that claim to the test.” Hux jabbed a threatening finger in Poe’s face — a gloveless finger, which was disorienting. His hands were pale and surprisingly delicate. “Any damage you do to the Finalizer will be redealt on your neck. Via guillotine.”

Great. No pressure, then.

“You’ve got a guillotine?” Poe couldn’t help but sass when he was nervous. Call it a defense mechanism. “Just… lying around?”

“Bruise my battleship, and you’ll find out.”
