Hello! As some of you may know, I was planning to do the Klyux Lookback. Now get ready for the party! (〜￣▽￣)〜
Also, sorry for being slow, I’ve had a hard time to find certain things. Many of the early shipping blogs had been deleted so it was kind of challenging.
Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy it and find things on this list you’ll like.
November 2015:
20th: the kylux ship has awakened! on this dayimperialremnant and their friend miserylullabies drew up the name “kylux” (although until early February we used “huxlo” as well).
21st: the first kylux fanfiction was written byimperialremnant. It’s called Vying for Power (yeah, it’s 21st of November, still 27 days before TFA was released; crazy isn’t it?)
so basically the ship has been out there since November, although nothing really happened back then - a couple of people shipped them, and desperately waited for the movie to confirm that they’re NOT related to each other.
December 2015:
18th: Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens was released! YAY! (the novel on eBook as well, but we weren’t aware of that yet.)
19th: we had Kylo Ren fanarts. and just Kylo Ren fanarts.

before Christmas: We really wanted the rescue scene to happen on the next movie’s screen:

23rd: we kept screaming things like this or this into the void. no one had heard us. but we had more and more fanarts.

24th: dear George Lucas, this is how your legacy panned out
25th: “The moment when I realized I officially ship Kylux”
26th: “I identify a lot with General Hux because I’m also attracted to Kylo Ren and not very happy about it”
after Christmas: congratulations, now we have a Hux fandom!

27th: the famous Emo Kylo Ren twitter account appeared, HA

28th: Onaha means family and family means nobody gets left behind!
29th: we found out that General Hux has a sensor/tracker placed in Kylo Ren’s belt, thanks to kyluxcollective! ♥
Things that were TOTALLY in the TFA novel
Probable Reasons why Hux has a tracker in Kylo’s belt… Yeah. The TFA novel was released at the same day as the movie, but we just realized the opportunities of it in the second half of December.
30th: Kylo tries to confess his feelings to General Hux. He fails. Miserably. All the time.
x x x x x x x x x x // Yeah. Kylo definitely can’t flirt.
31st: there still weren’t a lot of content apparently. But when you found some, it was probably like this:
*KYLO FORCE SLAPS HUX’S BUTT*
Hux: KYLO, STOP THAT!!!
Kylo: The force is strong with this bun
Hux: HA HA, VERY FUNNY.
Kylo: Hux, there’s been an awakening-
Hux: UGH, for the lOVE OF SNOKE, NOT THIS SH*T AGAIN
Kylo: You just felt it x
what kylo ren says: the general will get over it. what kylo ren means: hux is still upset about the console i destroyed. he’s refusing to talk to me. the silent treatment hurts. we haven’t had sex in a week. i am sad. and lonely. and i’m going to throw another temper tantrum if he doesn’t pay attention to me. x
New Year’s Eve: finally, we had plenty of fanfic! we didn’t have to go to boring parties that night, instead just sat down into a comfy chair and read smutty kylux. like gently tame the beast, Life Sentence, No Cellmate, There’s a Menace in My Bed and You’re Awful
