Hux is an up-and-coming actor when Poe comes to him with the script that will make his career. The only problem: his counterpart, Kylo Ren. He’s reckless, volatile, never gets his lines right, and Hux hates him from the start. It’s mutual. But when they’re on screen together - it’s magic.

He’s already frowning by the time he’s demolished a bag of leftover catered hors d’oeuvres from one of Leia’s industry affairs and stumbled into a ragged black tee and jeans. He can practically feel Hux - the younger Hux, the haute couture head designer, who wouldn’t know good music if it fell into his manicured hands - glaring at him from across the boardroom. Hux, comfortably grandfathered into First Order Records
with a fistful of his late father’s shares. Hux, perpetually sneering, always the first to find a cutting remark. Hux, the absolute bastard (and God help anyone who mentioned it). Kylo would strangle him if he could stop waking up hard over him.

Not long after the death of his father, novelist Armitage Hux decides to do something to get himself out of his rut: direct a community theater production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Enter local celebrity, model and (unsuccessful) TV actor Kylo Ren, who Hux is sure will be his worst nightmare. But, true to way of the Bard, romance just sort of happens to unsuspecting, bickering companions.

Kylo may not have recognized his co-star’s voice, but he sure as shit remembers that this Armitage Hux guy was the best one night stand he’s ever had in his life.
