Seventeen years ago, the entire developed world went into lockdown under threat of a viral apocalypse. This coronavirus attack was called COVID-19.
During this lockdown, many loving couples were quarantined, and in December of 2020, there was a dramatic spike in birth rates all over the world. These children were called the “coronials”.
In January of this year, some of the coronials started displaying supernatural abilities that seem to be self-inhibiting.
One of them can fly, but only indoors. Another can move objects with her mind, but only if they are a very specific shade of periwinkle blue. Another can read minds, but only if the subject is not trying to hide anything. Another can guess a random card picked from a deck with 100% accuracy, but can’t outperform probability in any other area.
There are dark waves on the horizon. Satellites are reporting strange buzz. As a new global threat looms, maybe our only hope will be…
