Thank you :) And yes, when I started writing original fic I got all sorts of complaints about my pacing, and I think that was because I was allowing the characters time to mull over their choices and complicate themselves, rather than rushing on to the next plot incident. It's sad as it means I'm now writing in a genre I don't read and reading in a genre I don't write :(
