Having been tortured himself, Poe finds he has an unlikely empathy for the general. When he finds out how much that means to Hux, it becomes something more than just empathy.

Armitage Hux is found by the Resistance, alone and badly injured. When he wakes, he has no memory of who he is. As he tries to learn more about himself and his situation, he grows closer to Poe Dameron, who is struggling with his own sense of self. Poe’s uneventful mission becomes much more interesting when he runs into a familiar face at a bar. It’s a perfect opportunity to capture a high-ranking member of the First Order, but there’s one problem: General Hux seems to have no idea who he is.
