the idea that hux doesn’t understand genuine kindness or selflessness is so amusing. like, in a sad way but just. this man has probably never received a compliment from someone in his life without the person giving it expecting something in return, nor has he ever received any genuine gifts or seen any acts of kindness. i love to think that a newly resistance!hux would just be confused 24/7 no matter what simply because they are… Good People, and he’s never met Good People before.
